Advanced Separation and De-Contamination Technology

Heavy Media Separation (Sink-Float): Flakes enter a precise density-separation tank. Because Polycarbonate is dense (approx. 1.20 g/cm³), it sinks to the bottom. Lightweight contaminants, such as the PP/PE bottle caps and neck rings, float to the top and are skimmed away.

Intensive Hot Washing & Friction Scrubbing: The sunken PC flakes undergo a high-temperature caustic wash and severe friction scrubbing. This critical step strips away stubborn label glues, sanitizes the plastic, and removes any lingering organic residues.

Thermal Drying & De-dusting: Polycarbonate is highly hygroscopic (it absorbs moisture from the air). If melted while wet, it undergoes hydrolysis, ruining its molecular weight and impact strength.
